I completed the practical training required for my special education assistant certification at the Mexikói út School for Children with Physical Disabilities, which includes a preschool, elementary school, high school, special education school, and boarding school. I began as an intern and, upon completing my studies, worked as a special education assistant. During the more than two years I spent there, I became familiar with the various manifestations of physical disabilities of different origins, learned how to provide assistance and support, and mastered the proper use of special assistive devices.
As a dormitory assistant, my duties included helping the children with their daily activities and maintaining regular overnight watch. At the same time, I spent four years caring for and assisting a young man—who was 27 years old at the start of our collaboration and had been diagnosed with SMA—in his daily life, and I also played an active role in supporting his professional development.
I had the good fortune to assist him in writing his doctoral dissertation; thus, to me, he is now Dr. I was subsequently admitted to the Faculty of Special Education at ELTE BG, where I spent two years as a student specializing in somatic therapy.
My path led me to a supported living facility, where I worked as a therapeutic staff member assisting adults with severe mental disabilities in their daily lives, and today I work as the healthcare director of a residential foundation serving the blind and visually impaired, while continuing my studies in the paramedic program at Semmelweis University’s ETK starting this September.

I primarily provide care for children and young people with disabilities, hoping that by applying my existing knowledge and practicing my profession, I can help ease the challenges of their and families daily lives.
